Here are some feedback comments following the 2013 performance of Brahms Requiem

Thank you very much for organising such an enjoyable day on Saturday. We are so lucky to have Robert Dean training us as he has an amazing ability to get the best out of a disparate group of singers ranging from the very good to someone like me!

Just a brief note to say how much I enjoyed singing at the concert on Saturday. It was a most enjoyable challenge in good company, inside a beautiful building, Wesley Hall, and with inspirational singers led by Robert Dean, from whom one learnt a lot in a very short space of time. A very worthwhile charity was supported and I also appreciate the time given by many to make it a success regarding the arrangements on the day.

A big thank you for yesterday’s choir experience with the wonderful Robert Dean. I adore the Brahms Requiem anyway, and Robert was so skilful about getting the best from us, without ‘sweating the small stuff’. The rehearsal with the orchestra was fun, and the performance was inspiring and Robert’s conducting was a joy.

Congratulations on a splendid musical occasion yesterday. I know how much hard work is involved in such an event. The conductor was terrific, as were the orchestra and soloists. I thought the choir sounded pretty good too.
