Oxford Orpheus organises inspirational choral workshops and concerts.

As a charity we aim to enable singers to experience the joy of singing together and performing in a way maybe even they themselves never knew was possible.

 

Our November workshop, under Robert’s expert and enthusiastic guidance, was – as ever – a huge success. We all look forward to the performance on February 29th.

OXFORD ORPHEUS returns to Oxford Town Hall for a performance of Mendelssohn’s choral masterpiece Elijah. We are delighted to welcome as soloists Catriona Hewitson, Ema Nicolovska, Liam Bonthrope and Dominic Sedgwick. Tickets are available now.

Beating Time

This is our first season of support for Beating Time, a remarkable charity which shows how setting up choirs in prisons can provide a platform for a Restart programme that helps offenders to find work on release.

This season we continue support for Christ Church Cathedral Chorister Community Outreach Programme, a unique music teaching venture for Oxfordshire’s primary school children run in partnership with the Oxfordshire County Music Service.
